• Fixed various locations where portable heads could get stuck in the environment.
• Fixed an issue where blocking when close to a wall could cause the portable head to get stuck inside the wall.

• Fixed an issue in the Discovery: Zahra mission where Interceptors would be created by killing a group of zombies before the correct target was activated.

The game world is divided into 10 areas, which you can explore freely. But to move between zones, you need to use zone exits. As you play, you can unlock fast travel points to move quickly.

You can use ranged and melee weapons in the game. Each weapon can be customized using mods to gain special effects and perks to alter your stats. The “FLESH” system creates wounds based on the weapon used, making zombie dismemberment look realistic.

Weapons have different rarities, with rare and advanced weapons being more powerful. You can also use the environment to your advantage, such as throwing electric weapons into the water to shock enemies. However, weapons degrade and break over time, but you can repair them at a workbench.

Compared to previous games, Dead Island 2 has no skill trees. Instead, it uses a deck-building system. The Skill Deck has four categories: Abilities, Survivors, Killers, and Souls. Ability cards provide new active skills, some of which can be used in berserker mode for powerful attacks. Survivor cards can increase health and stamina, killer cards can provide passive combat abilities, and soul cards can unlock powerful special abilities. There are also “autophagy” cards that provide benefits but also weaken your abilities. You can earn these cards by completing missions, leveling up, and defeating special enemies.

Dead Island 2 plot

The story background of “Dead Island 2” is set 14 years after the first “Dead Island” game. The US military has locked down Los Angeles due to a new and worse zombie outbreak. Six people called “killers” including Bruno, Carla, Danny, Ryan, Amy and Jacob successfully boarded the last evacuation flight. However, an infected person boards the plane and the military shoots it down. Doom Slayer survived the crash but was bitten while helping other survivors.

They find shelter under the wing of actress Emma Jaunt and discover they are immune to the infection. Emma’s ex-boyfriend Sam B, who is also immune, is here too. The team learned about the treatment and contacted Dr. Reuben Reed, a physician at the CDC. Sam warns them not to trust Reed. The Doom Slayers make their way to Santa Monica through sewers teeming with zombies. They arrived at Reed’s shelter, where he asked them to prove their immunity at CDC headquarters.

Reed and Conradt, another survivor, were acquaintances. The killers are searching for Reed’s missing daughter Tisha and discover Autophagy, a new human species with unique abilities. Conradt warned them that Reed wasn’t looking for a cure. The Killers confront Reed, who reveals that he caused the autophagosome to explode. They learn that AutophagE is a genetic “clock” programmed to turn humans into zombies at a specific time. Genshin, like Doom, is an anomaly. The killers confront Reed on Hollywood Boulevard, where Sam’s immunity has waned. Reed admitted that the cause of the outbreak was research into the blood of souls to find a cure. He gives Doom a dose of the cure and reveals that Tissa has the antidote. Reed succumbs to autophagosomes. Doom healed Sam and decided to stay in the city to find Tisha and help the survivors. Emma, ​​Sam, and helicopter pilot Barton escape, while Conrat and Genshen spy on the Doom Slayer as he battles the zombies.
