It was first launched for Microsoft Windows on November 14, 2017, and later made available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on May 29, 2018. Subsequently, on September 26, 2018, it was released for iOS and Android devices.

Later on, a version called Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Complete, which includes all previously released downloadable content, was released for Windows 10 and Xbox One on September 18, 2020.
