How to Complete Sour But Sweet in Fae Farm? Fae Farm Sour But Sweet Guide

Fae Farm sweet and sour

Sour but Sweet is a story mission in Fae Farm where you must delve into 25 levels of dungeons to help the faeries. The trickiest part of this quest is getting to the bottom of the dungeon, as you’ll need a special potion called “Fairbreath” to breathe the dungeon’s miasma. It can also be a bit difficult to collect all the items on Bolletar’s list. Just like in the mission “The Miracle of Water,” it takes some work to collect everything you need.

How to complete “Sour and Sweet” in Fae Farm?

To complete Fae Farm’s Sweet and Sour quest, you need to collect five different items:

Fairy Dust (3): You can obtain Fairy Dust by catching Sun Spirits or Mystical Fairies in Fairyland. After capturing them, leave them in the Faerie Animal Greenhouse. Every sun elf or mystical fairy you leave there will give you a piece of fairy dust.

Polished Emerald (5): First mine emerald rough from floating ruins. Once you have them, use the Gem Polisher to turn them into polished emeralds. To create a polished emerald, you need ten rough emeralds.

Spore Essence (5): Use the scythe to cut the grass in the Floating Ruins Dungeon to obtain Spore Grass. Then, take the Sporeweed to the Potion Ingredient Station to convert it into Spore Essence. Remember, you need four Sporeweeds to make one Spore Essence.

Violet Jelly Caps (10): Look for Violet Jelly Caps, which are mushrooms that grow wild in Fairyland.

Clover Feed (15): Use your scythe to cut clovers in the Elf Kingdom to collect Clover Feed.

Once you have collected all these items, bring them to Boletal. They will instruct you to come back the next day and cast a spell to reduce the miasma. When the next day arrives, the story sequence will begin, concluding the fifth chapter of the game. As a reward, your staff will receive a new magic spell called “Faerie Fire.” This spell can be used to create a bridge across a gap with crystals on both sides.
