Yakuza: Infinite Fortune is scheduled to release globally on January 26, 2024, and will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Excitingly, players can play a demo of the game, which will be bundled with the spin-off game Yakuza Gaiden: The Man Who Erased the Name, which will be released on November 9, 2023. The demo will provide players with early access to the world of Infinite Wealth and the adventures of Kasuga Ichiban and Kiryu Kazuma.

In “Yakuza: Infinite Fortune”, players play as Kasuga Ichiban, Kiryu Kazuma and their teammates. They explore the Isezaki Ijincho district of Yokohama and even venture to the city of Honolulu, Hawaii. The game features a turn-based combat system for all characters, and each character can choose a different “job” or class, giving them unique abilities and playstyles. Kiryu has a special class that allows him to engage in real-time combat, similar to the fighting style seen in previous Yakuza games. The game also brings back the Poundmates summoning system, which features various characters from the series.
In addition to classic mini-games such as karaoke, darts, and mahjong, Infinite Fortune has also launched new mini-games. These include Crazy Delivery, inspired by Sega’s Crazy Taxi, Sujimon Battle (a fun parody of Pokémon), and Miss Match (Haruhi’s dating app). There is also an important side activity called Happy Resort DonDoko Island, where Kasuga manages his resort island, involving tasks such as resource gathering, crafting, and social interaction.
