MWZ stands for Modern Warfare 3 Zombie Soldiers. It is a PvE (player versus environment) version of MW2’s DMZ mode, similar to a battle royale game where players complete missions and missions in an open world. In MWZ, a squad of three players travels to Urzikstan to find better gear, complete missions, and advance faction missions before leaving the mission. Unlike the DMZ, the MWZ is entirely played in a gaming environment (PvE) and has no player versus player (PvP) gameplay. You’ll team up with other squads to defeat tough bosses, explore crafting plans, and enhance your character with Perk-A-Colas and upgraded weapons. However, if you die in Urzikstan, you will lose all progress.
