Payday 3 is a new video game produced by Starbreeze Studios and published by Deep Silver. This is the third game in the “Payday” series after “Payday 2”. The game was released on September 21, 2023.
The development of the game was announced in May 2016 by Starbreeze Studios and produced by Overkill Software. In March 2021, Plaion committed a significant investment in supporting the game’s development, including updates a year and a half after launch. Payday 3 is built using Unreal Engine 4, but will be upgraded to Unreal Engine 5 later.

A trailer titled “New Dawn of Crime” was released on January 1, 2023, showing off the game for the first time. In Payday 3, the story begins with the events of Payday 2. The Payday gang split up and tried to escape their life of crime. However, betrayal and the loss of all their money forces them back into a life of crime. The cast includes familiar faces such as “Dallas”, “Chains”, “Wolf” and “Hoxton” from “Payday: Heist”, as well as two new members “Joy” and one new member from “Payday 2” “Pearl”.
