Starfield Makes Xbox Game Pass, When Does Starfield Come Out on Game Pass?

Starfield is an upcoming action role-playing game currently in development by Bethesda Game Studios and will be published by Bethesda Softworks. The game was first unveiled to the public at Bethesda’s E3 conference in 2018.

Starfield’s space-themed universe represents Bethesda’s first completely original intellectual property in nearly three decades. Fans can eagerly await its release on September 6, 2023 on Windows and Xbox Series X/S platforms. It’s important to stress that the early access version has been well-received by reviewers.

Starfield Makes Xbox Game Pass

After a week in Early Access, the core Starfield game will be available to all Game Pass subscribers on September 6th. Still, there’s the option to get the base game as part of a subscription, allowing early access via Game Pass.

By opting for the premium version of Starfield, players can get a week of early access for around $35, which is a sizable savings compared to the $70 full price or $100 for the premium version.

However, it’s important to note that if your Game Pass subscription expires and isn’t renewed, you’ll need to purchase the game at its standard Xbox platform price, making the $35 investment meaningless without Game Pass.

For Game Pass subscribers, there’s nothing to worry about. Since Bethesda is now owned by Microsoft, Starfield will likely continue to be available on Game Pass indefinitely, avoiding the usual issues with other third-party games leaving the service.

Starry Sky Trailer

starry sky game

Starfield is an action role-playing video game that allows players to freely switch between first-person and third-person perspectives. It is set in a vast open world within the galaxy, featuring fictional and real planetary systems, with over 1,000 planets, moons and space stations to explore.

The game generates different terrains, alien life, and flora based on stellar and atmospheric conditions. Of note is the magnificent fictional city of New Atlantis. Players interact with NPCs, form teams and utilize their unique skills. Customizable characters develop traits that affect gameplay, unlock abilities through skill trees, and use firearms and melee weapons.

Spaceships can be customized, purchased, or requisitioned, and modular ship systems, combat, and resource extraction enhance the gameplay experience.
