In the star field mission “The Best”, players are faced with the critical decision of betraying Jade Swan Captain Huan Daiya. The mission revolves around obtaining the ComSpike, and Huan Daiya helps by inviting the player to join her team.

After boarding the Jade Swan, players must secretly acquire military uniforms from a space station called SY-920. This uniform allowed them to sail without arousing suspicion. Afterwards, players arrive at the command room and use the optional intercom to update Cendea on their progress.

Jiandia revealed that critical information about ComSpike was stored in the archive, but permission codes were required to access it. The code was obtained through proficient use of Digipick on the computer in the security office.

With the clearance code in hand, the player goes to the Archives and learns that ComSpike is located in Engineering Bay 4. There, they meet Dr. Vogel, who presents them with a crucial choice. Players can choose to betray Cendea and inform Dr. Vogel of her intentions. In return, they received a keycard to use ComSpike to secure the prototype ship for the Scarlet Fleet, which angered Juan Daya but pleased the UC SysDef faction. Alternatively, players can convince Dr. Vogel to allow Huandaiya to escape unscathed and benefit the Crimson Fleet.

Decisions made here will affect the player’s alliances with different factions in the game. Regardless of their choice, players must pilot the prototype back to their ship, the Key, and report to Delgado and UC Commander Kibwe to complete the mission and set the stage for their next adventure in the stars.
