In Neverland, Blenheim Valley becomes the new police headquarters on the advice of developer Joe Landesman and his powerful aide, Alderman Gerald Wintergreen proposed location. However, as Sheriff Morse and detectives investigated the murder of a beaten and drowned escaped convict on Thursday, they stumbled upon Blenheim Valley’s dark secrets.
Their investigation found that children living in Blenheim Vale were subjected to horrific abuse by those responsible for their care. These abusers, once pillars of Oxford society, used their positions of power to exploit and harm vulnerable children.
As the case unfolds, Morse makes a startling discovery. He learned that one of his colleagues, DS Peter Jakes, was “Little Pete” and a survivor of the Blenheim Valley abuse. The revelation adds a personal element to the investigation, and Morse becomes even more determined to uncover the truth.

Throughout the episode, Morse uncovered a conspiracy involving ACC Clive Dill and DI Chad, who had suppressed investigations into the Blenheim Valley incident in the past. It was clear that Diehl was complicit in the cover-up and was willing to go to extreme measures to protect his secrets.
At a critical moment, Dill tries to get Chad to shoot Morse, who finds himself in grave danger. However, Morse managed to escape and rushed to Blenheim Valley, where Deal set the trap on Thursday. Deal revealed his plans to frame Morse not only for Thursday’s shooting but also for strangling Police Chief Standish.
Before Dill can carry out his plan and frame Morse for the murder, Angela Fairchild, the daughter of the school doctor, emerges from the shadows and shoots Dill. Sadly, Angela then turns the gun on herself. The episode ends with Morse being wrongfully imprisoned and Thursday fighting for his life.

In subsequent seasons of Endeavor , it was revealed that Thursday survived his injuries and Morse was ultimately exonerated. Thursday’s shooting was attributed to “ACC Clive Dill suffering a mental breakdown”. Although the case surrounding Blenheim Valley has been closed and Wintergreen and Deal have died, Joe Landesman, the mastermind behind the abuse, remains at large.
During the final season of Endeavor, there were hints that Joe Landesman may have fled abroad, possibly to Spain or Portugal, where his company owns resorts. The remains of another abuse victim, “Big Pete” or Peter Williams, were never found but are presumed to be buried somewhere in the Blenheim Valley. This sets the stage for Endeavor’s final episode, “Exit,” in which the series’ final resolution is expected to take place.

“Endeavour” is the third installment in the “Inspector Morse” series, following the original “Inspector Morse” series which aired from 1987 to 2000 and the spin-off series “Lewis” which aired from 2006 to 2015 .
The series ran for nine seasons and was set from 1965 to 1972. It aired a pilot episode in 2012, set in 1965, and the first full series premiered in 2013, set in 1965. 1966, while the third and fourth seasons are both set in 1967. The fifth season has six episodes and is set in 1968, while the sixth season continues the story eight months later in 1969.
The seventh season is set in 1970 and began broadcasting in February 2020. The first episode was released at the Masterpiece Theater in the United States on August 9 of that year. In August 2019, ITV announced that the show had been renewed for an eighth season. The eighth season is set in 1971, started filming in March 2021, and ended in June 2021.
