Ahead of the game’s official release on September 6, modder PureDark has released a free mod that brings DLSS 2 to Starfield. PureDark has also launched another MOD, DLSS 3 with frame generation, but this is not free and it comes with DRM protection, which has caused some controversy in the gaming community. Where is the new Atlantis in the starry sky?
In Starry Night , New Atlantis is located on the planet Jamison in the Alpha Centauri star system. You’ll access it early in the game, so you won’t miss it. To find it accurately, check a star map and look to the southern part of the solar system. Once you get there, you’ll easily notice it. New Atlantis is a large city, home to the Constellation Factions and Lodges. You have a lot to do in the city, such as finding new partners, completing side quests, using trade authorities, and more.

How to get to New Atlantis?
To reach New Atlantis among the stars, you should do so after completing the tutorial and story mission called “One Small Step” with your robot companion Vasco.

Once you’re ready to go, explore the big city’s four districts and Constellation Inn. As the story progresses, you’ll be able to quickly travel to these locations.
If you want to manually land on New Atlantis, go to the Alpha Centauri system, select Jemison, and select your desired landing site. Remember, a contraband scan will be conducted before you enter.
Once you start the game, you should have spots marked on New Atlantis for you to land on. Just pick one and you’ll land nearby. You can’t pilot your ship there yourself; you have to choose a landing spot.

In “Starfield”, there is an organization called “Trade Administration” that you will encounter in different galaxies. They have smaller kiosks near the spaceport where you can sell extra stuff for money or even stolen items. They also have physical stores in cities and will sometimes give you quests and stories. The Trade Authority regulates trade and provides delivery jobs on the task board.
You can make a lot of money by selling things to them, especially if you collect a lot of items during your adventure. But be warned, they have a bit of a bad reputation and they don’t mind if you sell them stolen stuff. You can also find larger Trade Authority buildings in cities, but they usually don’t have as valuable stuff to loot compared to weapons and such.

Starfield’s Trade Authority Locations
In Starfield, you can find Trade Bureau locations in various locations as you explore the game’s vast map. There are Trade Administration kiosks, merchant ships, and appropriate shops on different planets and systems.
You’ll usually come across a Trade Authority kiosk or shop on most major planets. This is the store you should target as they have more money and merchandise than smaller kiosks.
Merchant ships from the Trade Administration appear randomly in orbit around different planets. You can talk to their suppliers without worrying about contraband scans.

Trade Authority Store:
- Akila – Between the hitching post and GalBank.
- Cydonia – Located to the right of the ramp inside the mining colony.
- Neon – Just in front of the elevator that takes you out of the spaceport and into Neon.
- New Atlantis – Located in the Well area below the main city, next to Apex Electronics.
- The Lair – In the Wolf System, upon entering the Lair orbiting the planet Xonia, a small Trade Establishment store appears.
- Key – In the Kryx system you can find the Trade Establishment, but you need to join the Crimson fleet to access it.
Trade Administration Information Kiosk:
- Akila – At the entrance to the Ship Services Building, near your ship’s landing point.
- Cydonia – Outside the Ship Service Station near the entrance to the Cydonia Mining Colony Station.
- Neon Sign – Inside the boat service location, just to the left of where your boat lands.
- New Atlantis – Right next to where your ship lands.
- The Den – Should be located next to the Ship Service Technology.
